BBC on Judaism. The BBC religion website has an excellent, simple, compact, easy-to-read overview of Judaism. After looking at the religion “at a glance,” you can peruse succinct material about beliefs; customs; history; the Holocaust; holy days; ethics; people; rites; subdivisions; texts; worship. http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/judaism/

Orlando’s Holocaust Center. “The Holocaust Memorial Resource and Education Center of Florida is an organization dedicated to combating anti-Semitism, racism and prejudice, with the ultimate goal of developing a moral and just community through its extensive outreach of educational and cultural programs.” http://www.holocaustedu.org/

Aish.com states: “Since its launch in February 2000, Aish.com has become the world’s largest Jewish content website, logging over a million monthly user sessions with 380,000 unique email subscribers . . . . The Anti-Defamation League. “The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) fights anti-Semitism and all forms of bigotry in the U.S. and abroad through information, education, legislation, and advocacy. ADL serves as a resource for government, media, law enforcement, educators and the public. The Patheos Religious Library provides a well-organized, well-presented, comprehensive overview of various faith traditions and the subsections within the faith traditions. The Harmony Project website contains a section called “Sacred Paths,” which examines some fourteen faith traditions. The presentation of each faith includes an overview essay, written by someone familiar with that faith tradition but not necessarily an adherent. It also includes interviews with adherents, who talk candidly about their faith journey. There also are recommended books for further study.
