Unitarian Universalism

• The Unitarian Universalist church was founded in 1961.
• Unitarian Universalists do not have a specific creed, but they do share a search for spiritual growth. They also feel that an individual’s theology is a result of their search for spiritual growth and not a result of obedience to an authority.
• It is a very theologically liberal religion.
• Unitarian Universalism has a pluralist approach, and its members may describe themselves in a number of ways, including humanist, agnostic, atheist, pagan, Christian, Muslim, monotheist, or polytheist.
